Leave Accrual and Understanding Leave Hours What this means: Leave accruals will be based on the number of days in each pay period, therefore some pay periods will accrue under what we are use to, and some pay periods will accrue more than we are use to. It will balance out so that at the end of the year, your sick leave Annual Leave: First through third year - the equivalent of 12 days per year Fourth through seventh year - the equivalent of 15 days per year Eighth through twelfth year - the equivalent of 18 days per year Thirteenth through eighteenth year - the equivalent of 21 days per year Over eighteen years - the equivalent of 24 days per year Reading your Leave Information your new pay stub: Start Balance: Earned: Taken: What you have used for the year, this will be a running total for the calendar year.
